Instructions for signing up in our new social community!

Do not do anything until you receive your Pepper'hood sign-in information from headquarters. Once you do, please follow these set-up instructions:

The first item is "Create Your Profile". Click the "Launch" bar next to this.

Fill out as much of this as you have time, but at least the basic information so others may find you.

Obviously, some of the questions are irrelevant for our particular site, but just don't answer them! You may

always come back and edit or change any of the areas at a later time.

Be sure to click on "Save Changes" before exiting this page!!

Next, we are going to "Launch" the "Upload a Photo" section.

This is your profile photo. You may either browse for photos on your
computer by clicking on the "Browse" button, or (for the technically savvy) you may insert an URL,
OR, you may use the avatar (the Pepper) as your photo.

If you choose the last option, click on the Pepper now.

You will be returned to the wizard automatically.

BLOG: You may post your first blog at this time, or not. The choice is yours.

A blog is a personal online diary; or can be a commentary on a particular subject.

A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic.

The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs.

INVITE YOUR FRIENDS: If you know others who would enjoy being a part of our community, please feel free to invite them to join!

SITE AND PRIVACY SETTINGS: Click on the "Launch" tab.

Scroll down the setting choices and decide how you would like things handled for your particular account.

Once completed, be sure to click on "Save changes".

That's it! You are done. Now, see where it says "Success!" at the top of the page?

There is a hyperlink at the end of that paragraph that says "Site Home". Click on that. You will have a site, a hub,
and other tabs that you can check out.

On the top right of your site page, there are different groups to check out and join into as you wish. Be sure that you, at the very least, join The Pepper'hood Group. This will be taking the place of our old message board/forum. Click on the "Groups" tab, click on "Join this group". Once included, you can click on the forum tab to get started communicating with others. Upload pics, videos, whatever it is that gets you more connected with others.

Don't be afraid! There is nothing that you can do wrong or that can't be undone.

If you wish, you may set it up so that you have The Pepper'hood as a homepage along with your search engine. Go to "Tool", "Internet Options" and add the line: http://members.sassypinkpeppers.com



Once logged in, you never have to do it again unless you have logged out! This makes staying in touch really easy!
